3/2023: Updated 2023-2024 guidelines and application forms available

The Robert E. Funk Memorial Archaeology Foundation, a private non-profit charitable organization, receives monetary contributions in memory of Bob Funk. The Funk Foundation administers a fund for support of archaeological research in New York State, particularly on the prehistoric and contact periods yet not limited to this time span. The categories of applicants are: professional, avocational, and student. More information is available under application forms.

Checks should be made out to 'The Robert E. Funk Memorial Archaeology Foundation, Inc. and be accompanied by a form, letter, memo, or other indication that the donation is for the Funk Foundation. Donations are be placed in a restricted account that will be accessible only to the Foundation board.  Please send checks to Jonathan Lothrop at the above address.

The Funk Foundation is a 501c(3) non-profit organization. Donations are welcomed and are tax deductible.
